Case Manager 

Oblix Capital is currently looking for Case Managers to join its ever growing team. This role offers the member of staff the opportunity to work for a progressive and forward-thinking short term mortgage lender specialising in development and bridging finance, originating loans via both the intermediary channel and direct to client in a market sector that is currently undergoing high levels of growth.

The primary focus of the role will be to work within the Risk Department and support underwriting managers. Main tasks include undertaking initial searches, instructing valuations and solicitors, liaising with members of the Sales Department, applicants, financial intermediaries, valuers and solicitors on daily basis.

Duties and responsibilities

 Initial check of application forms to ensure these are completed correctly

  • Undertaking KYC checks
  • Undertaking Credit, Land Registration and Google searches
  • Issuing Heads of Terms
  • Instructing valuers, monitoring surveyors and solicitors
  • Checking through Valuation reports and updating the CRM system
  • Reviewing Report on Titles
  • Dealing with funds requests
  • Assist the sales department and underwriting managers in the management of dedicated pipeline of cases through to swift completion, providing support where required
  • Proactively manage a high pipeline of cases to improve conversion rates and maximise origination levels
  • Build relationships with external contacts such as valuers, brokers, customers, surveyors and solicitors
  • Ensuring Data Quality checks are completed
  • Produce legal documentation

Qualifications and requirements

  • 1-3 years of recent experience with a Mortgage/Secured lender essential
  • Experience in dealing with borrowers and mortgage brokers preferred
  • Always representing the company in the best possible light
  • Computer literate with excellent attention to detail.
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are essential
  • Excellent organisation, communication and time management skills
  • Excellent customer care skills are required, the desire to deliver a swift and professional service is essential to this dynamic organisation
